The 1950s were an amazing time in America. From a baseball perspective, it's known as The Glory Days of
baseball, and it's easy to understand why. America was coming off World War II, patriotism was high, manufacturing
was booming, and the Baby Boomers were heading to the Ball Parks in droves, eagerly wanting to be their Idol: The
Mick, or Ted Williams, or... The '50s represent one of my very favorite eras of baseball glove evolution.
