Ah, the Early Days of baseball.   America was riding the roller coaster of the Industrial Revolution, World War I, The Roaring '20s, the Great Depression of the 1930s, then plunged into World War II.  Through it all, baseball was a connecting thread of American spirit, as it was fast becoming, "America's Pastime".   Some of the greatest baseball teams became sheer dynasties, as Legends were born.
