"What are briar smoking pipes doing on a vintage glove website?"

Well, over the years, for whatever reason, I've come to really appreciate beautifully designed pipes, hand-carved by true artisans. While I've never been a cigarette smoker, I've always loved the smell of a pipe burning, like for so many others, it reminds me of my Dad, and my grandfather. As such, I have collected fine new briar pipes - as well as vintage estate (pre-smoked) pipes - from pipemakers all over the world. Most of them are true works of art in their own right, yet still remain superbly functional. I put them here just in case you might be curious.
